Itinerary

Day 1Sacred Valley Cusco

We will begin our Sacred Valley Day Tour with an early pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Our private vehicle will drive us along the scenic Urubamba River, offering panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains and fertile farmlands. We will first visit Pisac, exploring the impressive Inca citadel perched on a hilltop. We will walk among its terraces, temples, and ceremonial centers while enjoying stunning valley views.

After exploring Pisac, we will descend to the town for a visit to its vibrant market. We will admire colorful textiles, handcrafted souvenirs, and local pottery. Here, we will interact with local artisans and learn about traditional techniques passed through generations. A buffet lunch in Urubamba will allow us to taste authentic Andean cuisine.

Next, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town with remarkable stone terraces and massive fortress walls. We will explore the ceremonial areas, temples, and narrow streets, learning about their historical and strategic importance. Our guide will explain the Inca engineering that allowed these structures to endure for centuries.

In the afternoon, we will visit Chinchero, a town famous for weaving traditions and archaeological remains. We will see the colonial church built on Inca foundations, and we will watch a live demonstration of natural wool dyeing and weaving techniques. Finally, we will return to Cusco in the late afternoon, concluding this full-day tour.
