Day 1Cusco – Ocongate – Tinqui – Upis

We will pick you up from your Cusco hotel at 5:30 AM and begin the drive toward Ocongate. This scenic journey takes around three hours and offers incredible views of the Andes, with traditional villages, herds of llamas and alpacas, and snow-capped peaks in the distance. Along the way, we will stop in the small town of Tinqui, where you can stretch your legs, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the highlands before continuing deeper into the mountains.

From Tinqui, we will start our gentle hike toward the village of Upis, located at 4,150 meters above sea level. The trail offers a gradual ascent, giving you time to adjust to the altitude while appreciating the stunning landscapes surrounding you. Upon arrival at Upis, we will set up camp in a picturesque spot near the mountains. In the evening, you will enjoy a warm and hearty dinner prepared by our team, and afterward, you can rest and recover, preparing for the more challenging high-altitude trekking that awaits in the coming days.

Day 2Upis – Puca Cocha – Ananta

After an early breakfast, we will begin our hike toward Puca Cocha, following a trail surrounded by turquoise lagoons that reflect the towering mountains. The colorful mineral slopes will add vibrant contrasts to the scenery, creating a breathtaking natural palette. Along the way, we will encounter llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas grazing freely in the highland meadows, offering a unique glimpse of Andean wildlife in its natural habitat. This combination of pristine landscapes and cultural authenticity will make every step of the journey unforgettable.

After a refreshing lunch in the heart of the mountains, we will continue ascending to Ananta, located at 4,650 meters above sea level. The path will lead us across vast highland plains and scenic valleys, where the crisp mountain air and panoramic views will inspire a sense of serenity and wonder. Our campsite awaits in a stunning location overlooking glaciers and snow-capped peaks. As the day comes to a close, we will enjoy a warm dinner while watching the sun set behind the mountains, painting the horizon with golden and crimson hues.

Day 3Ananta – Montaña Arcoíris – Alqatari

We will depart early and hike toward the famous Montaña Arcoíris, crossing high passes and mineral-rich landscapes. We will pause for photos at rainbow-colored slopes formed by natural minerals.
